Dennis the Menace
Created by Hank Ketchcam in 1950, Dennis the Menace was the favorite cartoon show of generations. People first saw the Dennis cartoon in sixteen newspapers on March 12, 1951. 8 years later, the show premiered on television, in prime time and lasted for season. The show was canceled a short time after the character that played Mr. Wilson pasted away.
The original cartoon aired on 1985 on Syndication and was produced by DIC Productions. The show owed most of his success to the vocal cast, the most appreciated being the late Phil Hartman in a brilliant performance as Mr. Wilson. Dennis Mitchell lived at 627 Elm Street with his parents, Henry and Alice. Next door was his best friend, Mr. Wilson (though the feeling was, certainly, not mutual).
Dennis
A young, lovable boy, Dennis causes trouble everywhere he goes. Although he has the right intentions, his actions always seem to lead to trouble. One of Dennis's favorite people is Mr. Wilson, a retired postal carrier, whom he annoys constantly. His wife, Martha adores Dennis and he sees her as a grandmother. Ruff, his faithful dog, follows him everywhere and help him create mischief..
