Inspector Gadget

The absent-minded detective, Inspector Gadget is a human being with many gadgets built into his anatomy. DIC Entertainment was the company that produced the cartoon. This was voiced in Los Angeles and Canada, edited in Los Angeles and drawn in Korea. The Inspector  is the world's first bionic policeman. His niece, Penny and his faithful dog Brain are by the detective's side to help vanquish his enemies. 

Gadget would often make mistakes, confusing his friends with enemies and believing his real enemies are his friends. He is the caretaker of Penny, his niece and together with their dog, Brain, they fight against the villain corporation MAD, headed by Dr. Claw  People have often compared Inspector Gadget to Adams' Get Smart character, Maxwell Smart, and Inspector Clouseau of the Pink Panther film series.

Inspector Gadget
Voiced by Don Adams, the Inspector, a bumbling cyborg detective, is the main character of the show. He often makes mistakes that lead to trouble, but he get out of these situations with the aid of his trusty gadgets. He works for the Metro City police department with Chief Quimby as his commanding officer. His gadgets are an interesting aspect of the show but most of the times they don't do him any good  at solving the case.
