Scooby-Doo

Scooby-Doo was created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears for Hanna-Barbera Productions, and it first aired in 1969. The cast, although it varied immensely, is best known in the form of dog and four teenagers:  Fred "Freddie" Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Norville "Shaggy" Rogers. Later in the show, more characters were added, including Fred "Freddie" Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Norville "Shaggy" Rogers.

CBS originally aired the show, from 1969 to 1976 then ABC aired it and later canceled the show in 1986. They replaced the show with a spin-off called A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, airing from 1988 until 1991. A new Scooby-Doo series, What's New, Scooby-Doo?, aired on the WB Network during the Kids' WB! programming block from 2002 until 2005. Shaggy and Scooby appeared in three movies: Scooby-Doo Meets the Boo Brothers (1987), Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf (1988), and Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School (1988). Starting with 1988, Warner Bros. Animation and Hanna-Barbera produced direct-to-video movies: Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (1998), Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost (1999) and so on.

Scooby-Doo is the cowardly Great Dane that loves to eat, especially his favorite – scooby snacks. Scooby is Shaggy's pet and best friend and their the ones the ghosts and villains usually go for. Shaggy's a coward, but usually, alongside his friend Scooby, catch villains by accident and solve the mistery.  Freddy is the leader of the gang. He usually drives the Mystery Machine. When the gang split, he would usually go with Daphne. She is fashionable, cares very much for the way she looks and the one most likely to get kidnapped. Velma is the brains of the gang, that figures out who the villain is in the end.
